Exclusive elk hunt on private land for big bulls! A great Colorado hunt for 5 days in the Spanish Peaks. This is a draw unit, but 100% success draw rate with 0 points. You can hunt this unit with a OTC tag for 2nd and 3rd season. You will hunt during the morning and evening each day from the lodge. These units hold big bulls with averages from 300"-350" Boone & Crockett. This outfitter has access to 40,000 private acres.

Largest bull shot in 2019 season was 317" B&C. Largest bull taken in the area was 378". Shot opportunity possible at 390"+ bulls.
Outfitter suggests .270 win or larger caliber. Bring your weapon you are most comfortable shooting.

Deposits are not refundable. When you make a deposit or payment that money is used to reserve your adventure dates and we cannot sell them to anyone else. If for some reason you have to cancel, you will lose your deposit and any payments you have made. If you are concerned that you might get sick or otherwise have to cancel, we suggest buying trip insurance. There are insurance companies that specialize in providing insurance policies for outfitter bookings and hunts. One such company we recommend is globalrescue.com. It is also our policy, depending on the adventure you booked and at our discretion, that if you have to cancel and we are able to book a replacement for you at the regular price we will work with you to apply your deposits to another adventure. Please note that we cannot refund or roll state or government license fees, application fees, draw results, or tags.
Description
A great elk hunt on private land in the Spanish peaks of Colorado. This is a spot and stalk hunt. These units hold big bulls! Option to add a black bear, deer and/or an antelope to this hunt. Hunters will hunt in the mornings and evenings and hunt daily from the lodge. Outfitter has access to 40,000 acres. This terrain varies, but elevation ranges from 6500' to 9000'. Rifle hunts demand less hiking than archery, but hunter may be hiking to 8500' for this hunt. Expect 1-2 miles of hiking a day in pursuit of big bulls.

Hunter should be prepared for moderate hiking in pursuit of big bulls. The terrain can be rocky and steep. Physically fit individuals will have more shot opportunity. Outfitter can work with hunter and accommodate.
Transportation (To/From Basecamp)
Final destination city is Denver or Colorado Springs, Colorado. Hunter may choose to rent a vehicle and drive to lodge or can request for additional cost to be picked up and dropped off at nearby airport.

Description
Hunter will stay and hunt out of the lodge for the duration of the hunt. Hunting into late November can bring snow and colder weather. Hunter should be prepared with moderate to warm weather hunting gear-layering systems recommended. Good hiking boots are a must.
