Description
Caribou…This outfitter hunts big valleys, glassing from vantage points and visually covering a lot of ground. It is very common to see sheep, grizzly, black bear, moose, and caribou in these valleys and many hunters have taken multiple species on their hunt. The season runs from August 10th to September 30th which allows you to choose a velvet or hard antlered rack. This is a 1:1 fully guided 7 day hunt with options for a discount for a 2:1 hunt arrangement. Option to add several iconic Alaskan species for a trophy fee. Options for a non-hunter.

- Price: $20,000.00
Hunt price listed does not include license fees or permit costs. An annual game hunting license is required and costs about $160. In addition to this, the caribou tag cost is about $650. Additional species costs will apply depending on what other species are added: black bear (appx. $450), brown/grizzly bear (appx. $1,000), moose (appx. $800), Dall sheep (appx. $850), and wolverine (appx. $350). Wolf tags are about $60.

Options for a non-hunter. Option to add a black bear. Option to add a grizzly bear. Option to add a brown bear. Option to add a Dall sheep. Option to add a moose. Option to add a wolverine. Wolves are a free add on and can be shot if seen though these are purely opportunistic.

Refund Policy:
Deposits are not refundable. When you make a deposit or payment that money is used to reserve your adventure dates and we cannot sell them to anyone else. If for some reason you have to cancel, you will lose your deposit and any payments you have made. If you are concerned that you might get sick or otherwise have to cancel, we suggest buying trip insurance. There are insurance companies that specialize in providing insurance policies for outfitter bookings and hunts. One such company we recommend is globalrescue.com. It is also our policy, depending on the adventure you booked and at our discretion, that if you have to cancel and we are able to book a replacement for you at the regular price we will work with you to apply your deposits to another adventure. Please note that we cannot refund or roll state or government license fees, application fees, draw results, or tags.

This is a hunt that requires heavy backpacking-need strong metal capacity. More physically fit provide better shot opportunity. Hunter can expect a lot of hiking for this hunt in pursuit of mature bulls. Outfitter can accommodate, but hunter may hike up to 2-7 miles a day.
Transportation (To/From Basecamp)
Final Destination city is Anchorage, Alaska. Outfitter will supply a charter plane to and from camp. Hunter will need to book a hotel before and after their hunt.

Description
Hunter should be prepared for a traditional backpacking hunt. Hunter will stay in a tent and put the miles on looking for big mature bulls. Outfitter will supply the tent, but hunter is responsible for other sleeping gear. Plastic boots are recommended. Weather can vary at higher elevations so moderate to cold weather hunting gear should be packed. Full gear list to be provided when booked.
