Description

Black Bear…These hunts are in the Alaska Range and the limit is three bears per season. We have had tremendous success taking bears in this area and many bears square 7’. We have bait sites and spot and stalk hunts specifically targeting black bears and we also take them as opportunity allows while hunting other animals. This is a 1:1 fully guided 5 day hunt. Our bait hunts are out of our cabins which allow for some of the comforts of home. Black bear hunts start in April and run through June. Option to add a brown bear or grizzly bear to the hunt for a trophy fee.

Weapons description:

Average shots for rifle are 50-70 yards.
This can be arranged for an archery hunt. The bait spot will be moved for archery.

Black bear season: September 1 - June 30 (season dates vary by zone)

        Pricing

        • Price: $7,300.00

        5 Hunters periods-1-2 guys per group Nonresident black bear tags in OTC areas cost about $450. This is an additional cost to the annual hunting license which is about $160. If adding a brown/grizzly bear tag, cost is roughly an additional $1,000.

        Refund Policy:

        Deposits are not refundable. When you make a deposit or payment that money is used to reserve your adventure dates and we cannot sell them to anyone else. If for some reason you have to cancel, you will lose your deposit and any payments you have made. If you are concerned that you might get sick or otherwise have to cancel, we suggest buying trip insurance. There are insurance companies that specialize in providing insurance policies for outfitter bookings and hunts. One such company we recommend is globalrescue.com. It is also our policy, depending on the adventure you booked and at our discretion, that if you have to cancel and we are able to book a replacement for you at the regular price we will work with you to apply your deposits to another adventure. Please note that we cannot refund or roll state or government license fees, application fees, draw results, or tags.

        Transportation (To/From Basecamp)

        Final Destination city is Anchorage, Alaska. Outfitter will supply a charter plane to and from camp. Hunter will need to book a hotel before and after their hunt.

        Description

        This is a baited spring black bear hunt. Hunter will sit in a stand and wait for big boars to come in. Hunter should be prepared to sit for most of the day and pack clothing accordingly. Outfitter will supply baited stations and can arrange specifically for archery hunters. Full gear list to be provided when booked.
