Description

Whether you choose the fully-outfitted or guided-only option, your hunt will also include skinning or rough caping, and quartering once your barbary sheep is down. This is a great option for the youth hunter! We have land-owner tags available in southern New Mexico, and we will guide anywhere in New Mexico on a public tag. Private land and land owner vouchers can be added for an additional cost. Options for a non-hunter. This is a fully guided 4 day hunt with meals and lodging provided.

      Refund Policy:

      Deposits are not refundable. When you make a deposit or payment that money is used to reserve your adventure dates and we cannot sell them to anyone else. If for some reason you have to cancel, you will lose your deposit and any payments you have made. If you are concerned that you might get sick or otherwise have to cancel, we suggest buying trip insurance. There are insurance companies that specialize in providing insurance policies for outfitter bookings and hunts. One such company we recommend is globalrescue.com. It is also our policy, depending on the adventure you booked and at our discretion, that if you have to cancel and we are able to book a replacement for you at the regular price we will work with you to apply your deposits to another adventure. Please note that we cannot refund or roll state or government license fees, application fees, draw results, or tags.

      Hunt camp may move depending on where boars are located. Meals will be provided for this hunt but hunter must be flexible. Either a full kitchen or field kitchen will be provided. Hot meals-homestyle cooking.

      This can be a surprisingly physical hunt. Hunter can expect to hike in some rocky terrain. Hunter should expect moderate hiking for this hunt.


      Transportation (To/From Basecamp)

      Final destination city is either Albuquerque, NM or Las Cruses, NM. Best airport to fly into is Albuquerque. Depending on the unit drawn, hunter can expect a 2-4 hour drive to camp. If flying, hunter must rent a car to get to camp.

      Description

      This hunt will be conducted in February. Hunter should expect warm to moderate weather. Layering systems and durable hiking boots are a must. Outfitter will provide all field transportation and meals and lodging. Transportation may be in a side x side, truck, or on horseback. Landowner vouchers and private land can be added for an additional cost. Full gear list to be provided when booked.
