Description
Hungary is renowned as one of the top destinations in the world for fallow deer hunting, with over 60% of world-record trophies originating from its forests. The hunts take place on vast, mostly unfenced estates ranging from 6,000 to 8,000 hectares, featuring mixed woodlands and open terrain ideal for stalking or high-seat hunting. The peak season runs from mid-September to January, with the rut in October offering the highest activity. Packages typically include 4-day/3-night stays in traditional lodges or châteaux with full-board meals, English-speaking guides, permits, airport transfers, and 1:1 guided hunting. Additional species like red deer or wild boar may also be available upon request. Known for exceptional genetics, ethical practices, and top-tier hospitality, Hungary remains a premier choice for serious hunters seeking a world-class experience in one of Europe’s most productive fallow deer habitats.
