Description
This will be a 14 day fully guided 1:1 horse back hunt. Hunter should be prepared to spend up to 8 hours a day in the saddle in pursuit of rams. Majestic wild sheep roam through some of the most stunning and untouched regions of British Columbia. Hunting them demands skill and patience, but the reward is more than worth the effort. Picture yourself horseback riding across rugged landscapes, setting up camp in cozy tents, and savoring delicious home-cooked meals while immersed in the breathtaking beauty of the area. It's an adventure that any hunter would treasure forever.

The main camp is a well-equipped cabin outpost with plenty of modern amenities, depending on when you arrive, you may spend your first night at the main camp and begin your spike camp trip the following morning. Sheep hunts involve spiking out. Spike camps are based out of 14x14 canvas tents with wood stoves for heat and quality home cooked meals as staying dry, warm and well fed is essential — this is a hunt, but it’s also an experience you’ll want to enjoy like a vacation.

This is a physically demanding hunt. We utilize horses throughout the course of your hunt although the better physical shape you are in, the more enjoyable your experience will be and the better odds you will have. Outfitter can accommodate with a lot of abilities. Hunter should be familiar with horses and be able to hike.
Transportation (To/From Basecamp)
Book your flight to Fort Saint John, in British Columbia. Hunter will need a hotel before and after the hunt. Outfitter will supply transportation to the airstrip and from here transportation is provided to and from our hunting camps in British Columbia. Hunter will need to fly in 2 days before the hunt starts. Hunter will also need to get a hotel the day after the hunt.

Description
Hunter should be prepared for a 2 week horseback hunt in the wilderness. Spike camp with wall tents will be utilized. This is an early fall hunt, but weather can change drastically at high elevations. Layering systems are a must. Comfortable and durable hiking boots are recommended. There is no extra charge for flying out early if hunter has filled their tag. Full gear list and gear consultation to be provided by Rolling Bones Outdoors as part of our booking journey.

- extra ammunition at least 40 rounds (airlines are hard on rifles you may need to adjust rifle)
- hard gun case (durable enough to withstand airline abuse)
- sleeping bag
- personal first aid kit (optional)
- personal hygienic gear (shaving kit, soap, etc.…)
- hunting gear (knife, binos, game calls, scents, etc.…)
- camouflage hunting apparel (including a spare set if available)
- rain gear and small day pack
- waterproof boots, rubber boots, and camp shoes
