Description

Utah Trophy Bull Elk Hunt on the Wasatch Mountains Unit, Nebo and Cache Units. Hunts are 5 days, 1 Guide to 1 Hunter. Archery Season is Mid-August to Mid-September. Muzzleloader is End of September to Beginning of October. Rifle Hunts have 3 season options. Early Rifle in Mid-September, Mid-Rifle in beginning of October and a Late Season Hunt in November. Outfitter will provide on the mountain lodging in either a Wall Tent or Camp trailer on every season except Late Season where Client will need to arrange Hotel accommodations. Food is not included but can be added of wanted. Hunt includes: 1:1 Guide/Client - Transportation during hunt - Field Dressing - Caping - Quartering - Pack Out - Drop off and Pick up from Airport - Drop off meat and head at local butchers and taxidermist if requested. Most camp ammenities provided. These hunts are draw only and take application points to draw. Estimated time to draw: Archery: 0 - 7 Points Muzzleloader: 11 - 15 Points Early Rifle: 17+ Points Mid-Rifle: 15+ Points Late Rifle: 14+ Points *Point estimates are based on average client points that have drawn in the past. Some clients have drawn with less points.

      No refunds on deposits or final balances. Deposits will be honored until Client successfully draws tag for a period of up to 3 years after initial booking.

      Description

      Hunters will experience an adventure of a lifetime. Terrain is mild to intermediate. Lots of Aspen groves and Spruce pockets, with open meadows and some steep canyons depending on season. Archery season generally has Bulls starting to Rut, where as Early Rifle, Muzzleloader and Mid Season Rifle has the peak rutting Bulls.

      Hunts are conducted on Medium to Rough terrain. Clients can expect to hike between 3-5 miles each day on average. Spot and Stalk + Calling is the primary style of hunting, with the occasional ground blind sit over water.


      Transportation (To/From Basecamp)

      Final flight destination city is Salt Lake City, Utah. Outfitter can arrange for airport pick up and drop off. Trucks, ATVS/UTVs will be used for transport during the hunt. The hunt is spot and stalk and hunter should be prepared for a lot of hiking.
