Description

Experience New Mexico Elk Hunting on a budget! You will have access to around 40000 acres with a real shot at a nice hunt with GIANT bulls possible. With this hunt you will only pay for your Elk if you draw blood! This is a great true western open desert country Elk hunt. Hunting from a fixed tent camp in the middle of the action! Comfortable wall tents, full time cooks hot water running showers offer you the hunter that full western dream experience. This will be a 5 day 2x1 hunt.

Classification details:

Most bulls are 240-270 but in the last 4 years a 347", 372", 355". 380", 352" have all been harvested.

Weapons description:

Zero your rifle at 200, and be ready for 100-450+ yard shots. Most shots will be 300-400+, but learn to shoot at 300-400+ and you’ll be happy you did!

Pricing

  • Price: $7,000.00

This price is for a 2x1 hunt. Not included in Package Price: Travel to/from hunt camp. New Mexico license fee, habitat and HMAV stamps and NM sales tax. Tips for guide and cooks/camp-helper, meat processing, meat storage or shipping of cape or meat. Taxidermy or alcohol are also not included. There is a fee of $8000 on any blood or killed bull. This will be a 5 day hunt.

Refund Policy:

Deposits are not refundable. When you make a deposit or payment that money is used to reserve your adventure dates and we cannot sell them to anyone else. If for some reason you have to cancel, you will lose your deposit and any payments you have made. If you are concerned that you might get sick or otherwise have to cancel, we suggest buying trip insurance. There are insurance companies that specialize in providing insurance policies for outfitter bookings and hunts. One such company we recommend is globalrescue.com. It is also our policy, depending on the adventure you booked and at our discretion, that if you have to cancel and we are able to book a replacement for you at the regular price we will work with you to apply your deposits to another adventure. Please note that we cannot refund or roll state or government license fees, application fees, draw results, or tags.

This ranch is made for glassing – pinion and juniper country as far as you can see with large meadows and open hillsides that loaded up with elk all year. There are some lung busting hills, but a lot of the ranch has a nice gentle roll to it.


Transportation (To/From Basecamp)

Hunters will fly into El Paso, TX and rent a car to drive to camp.
