Deposits are not refundable. When you make a deposit or payment that money is used to reserve your adventure dates and we cannot sell them to anyone else. If for some reason you have to cancel, you will lose your deposit and any payments you have made. If you are concerned that you might get sick or otherwise have to cancel, we suggest buying trip insurance. There are insurance companies that specialize in providing insurance policies for outfitter bookings and hunts. One such company we recommend is globalrescue.com. It is also our policy, depending on the adventure you booked and at our discretion, that if you have to cancel and we are able to book a replacement for you at the regular price we will work with you to apply your deposits to another adventure. Please note that we cannot refund or roll state or government license fees, application fees, draw results, or tags.
Description
This hunt will take place at one of 25 row crop farms and cattle ranches in Central and North Central Florida. Hunters will stay at Hotels in the vicinity of their hunting location and will be picked up by their guide each morning well before daylight to hunt turkeys off the roost. Cattle pastures, row crop farms and timber will be the main habitat hunted and hunters will be asked to shoot mature, long-bearded toms. There are many restaurants and stores in the areas hunted and clients will be responsible for buying their own meals and snacks for the days hunt. Success rate runs over 90% and many hunters go home with 2 turkeys.

Clients will stay in local hotel/motels, outfitter will give direction as to what area will be hunted. Clients can then make reservations at recommended hotels/motels in their hunt area.

These areas, although rural, have restaurant options for meals to be provided by the client. Snacks and drinks will also be the responsibility of the client, there are C-stores and gas stations in the vicinity of hunting locations to grab snacks and drinks.

This is most flat country with easy accessibility. Hunters may encounter wet, swampy areas and tall grass. Transportation in Pickups and UTV's is common once on the properties.
Transportation (To/From Basecamp)
Hunters will be responsible for getting to and from the hotel/motel they will stay during their hunt. If flying, Gainesville is the closest airport and rental cars are available. Hunters are welcome to drive from their homes as well. In either case, directions will be given by the outfitter to their hotel/motel as the hunt nears and scouting determines hunt location.

Description
Normal turkey hunting gear is common, waterproof boots and rain gear are recommended. Shotguns and shells, a seat or pad for sitting on the ground and calls are a good idea.
