Description

This is a 2:1 fully guided 6 day spring Rolling Bones Outdoors hosted hunt. Great trophies, awesome terrain, good guides, and good times, make this a hunt you need to add to your bucket list. The terrain is ideal for hunting so you’re sure to have your fill of opportunities. Boasting the largest population of black bears in the North American region, British Columbia produces the most successful black bear hunts by comparison to any other area. Typically, black bears taken from this region are in the six to seven-foot range. Most of the bears are jet black however we have harvest some beautiful colored bear and some will sport a chevron on their chest. Option to add a second bear to the hunt. Options to upgrade to a 1:1 hunt.

    Refund Policy:

    Deposits are not refundable. When you make a deposit or payment that money is used to reserve your adventure dates and we cannot sell them to anyone else. If for some reason you have to cancel, you will lose your deposit and any payments you have made. If you are concerned that you might get sick or otherwise have to cancel, we suggest buying trip insurance. There are insurance companies that specialize in providing insurance policies for outfitter bookings and hunts. One such company we recommend is globalrescue.com. It is also our policy, depending on the adventure you booked and at our discretion, that if you have to cancel and we are able to book a replacement for you at the regular price we will work with you to apply your deposits to another adventure. Please note that we cannot refund or roll state or government license fees, application fees, draw results, or tags.

    If you’re seeking a quality hide, we recommend the spring season. This ensures that you’re getting what you want. We hunt British Columbia Black Bear starting May 15 and go through June 15th. If you prefer a fall hunt the best time starts Mid-September. In the fall, we prefer to hunt Moose, Elk, and Mountain Goats, but add a black bear tag just in case. Hunt black bears for their hides, but don’t forget they can be mighty taste as well Black Bear Population At present, the population of British Columbia Black Bears is approximately 120000 to 160000 in the region. This is perhaps the highest density of Black Bears in the nation. With over 1900 square kilometers to hunt in, you’re sure to find your quest. Whether you hunt the spring hunt in May and June, or the Fall hunt in September as an add on to other big game, success rates are high.     Hunter will hike up to 3 miles a day on this hike. This hike will provide opportunity with little hiking. Outfitter can accommodate for all physical ability and this hunt does not demand a lot of strenuous activity.


    Transportation (To/From Basecamp)

    Hunters will be picked up in Vancouver, British Columbia. Hunter will need to book a hotel for the day before and the day after the hunt. Outfitter will drive client to camp. Camp is roughly a 3 hour drive.

    Description

    This is a spring hunt, temperatures can range from 50-80 F. Rain is is common so rain gear is essential. Cabins warm and dry so only a minimal sleeping bag is necessary. Hunter should be prepared to hunt 8-10 hours a day. This hunt will consist of long days in the field. Full gear list to be provided when booked.
