Description
This company has hunted deer in Kodiak for 30+ seasons! These hunts are 8 days and 7 nights long. Hunts begin on Saturday mornings with chartered flights directly to the boat. The boat is usually located at the south end of Kodiak Island in the Olga Bay area. Through our years of experience, we have found that leaving the boat on-site and flying in is the best method to maximize your hunting opportunity. From there the adventure begins! Upon boarding, you'll be briefed on the boat and then have the choice to either head out for an afternoon hunt or relax. With options ranging from beach and mountain hunting to stand hunting, the area offers diverse environments to explore. Kodiak Island is home to over 70,000 deer, and thanks to a string of mild winters, their numbers have surged. Each day begins with a hearty breakfast, followed by a skiff ride to your hunting destination. Hunters are typically dropped off in pairs, equipped with handheld radios for safety or early pick-up. A packed lunch will be provided daily. After a full day of hunting, you’ll return to the boat to enjoy a hot dinner, which may include New York strip steaks, BBQ ribs, baked ham, buffalo bites, and, of course, your venison if you choose. There’s a variety of hunting experiences available throughout the week. On Friday afternoon, after a week of hunting, you’ll have time to box your meat and capes for the flight back to Kodiak on Saturday afternoon. These hunts are Self-guided, and we do not allow proxy hunting per Alaska Fish and Game Laws. The weather on Kodiak is very unpredictable. If this becomes an issue, we will work with you!

If for some reason you have to cancel, you will lose your deposit and any payments you have made. If you are concerned that you might get sick or otherwise have to cancel, we suggest buying trip insurance. There are insurance companies that specialize in providing insurance policies for outfitter bookings and hunts. One such company we recommend is globalrescue.com. Please note that we cannot refund or roll state or government license fees, application fees, draw results, or tags.
