Description

You'll hunt the west side of the Alaskan Range on an exclusive 160 sq mile private concession surrounded by State land. Accommodations on your 10 day, 1x1 guided hunt will be a cabin or white wall tents and or bomb shelter tents on a remote, Alaskan lake. Accommodations are equipped with comfortable cots, pads, wood burning stoves and all the amenities to recharge your batteries electronically and physically. Meals, beverages and snacks are provided. Breakfast and dinner are well balanced meals and consist of fresh meats, fruits and vegetables. Each day your Moose hunt begins after a 6 am hot breakfast. From camp you make your way to a high point to call and glass. Bulls are vocal and respond well during this rut hunt and can travel long distances chasing cows, so patience is key for success while hunting big bulls. Daylight last till 9 pm and you'll end your day with a warm cooked meal back in camp. Transportation and access to this camp is with large off road vehicle or ATV. Your hunt includes guide and packer, accommodations, meals and transportation during the hunt. The season is only 20 days long and only 4 hunters are taken each season. This in turn makes for a high success rate on a trophy bull. Hunter may also harvest wolves, wolverines with the purchase of a license and no trophy fee. Additional species available on trophy fee, paid upon successful harvest before camp departure.

Classification details:

This is a trophy bull moose area. In this particular area a bull must be at least 50" wide to be legal. Our 5 year average is 61" with a success rate of 80%.

Weapons description:

Outfitter suggests .30 caliber or bigger for rifle with 40 rounds of ammunition
Bow (minimum draw weight is 50 pounds peak draw weight)
Arrows (at least one doz.) at least 20 inches in overall length
Broadheads - at least 300 grains including arrow

        Refund Policy:

        Deposits are not refundable. When you make a deposit or payment that money is used to reserve your adventure dates and we cannot sell them to anyone else. If for some reason you have to cancel, you will lose your deposit and any payments you have made. If you are concerned that you might get sick or otherwise have to cancel, we suggest buying trip insurance. There are insurance companies that specialize in providing insurance policies for outfitter bookings and hunts. One such company we recommend is globalrescue.com. It is also our policy, depending on the adventure you booked and at our discretion, that if you have to cancel and we are able to book a replacement for you at the regular price we will work with you to apply your deposits to another adventure. Please note that we cannot refund or roll state or government license fees, application fees, draw results, or tags.

        Description

        Your hunt will take place in the Alaska Range. This is one of the most breathtaking places on planet earth. You will spend your days calling and glassing bulls as the rut will be under way. You can expect light to moderate hiking. Temperatures range from 20* to 60* F. Layering is the key. It's Alaska, so expect rain. Full gear list will be supplied by the outfitter upon booking.
