Description

Eastern Kansas can be mild or colder depending upon the weather pattern during spring turkey hunting. Be prepared for colder weather by having multiple layers of technical clothing with good warm comfortable boots for hiking. Good camouflage is a necessary thing for these sharp eyed Rios and blinds will be available during the hunt or client can bring one. Shotgun hunters will be positioned close by the roost at the base of a cottonwood tree and bowhunters will be positioned in a blind to conceal drawing. Expect short shots with the decoys attracting Toms to the hunter.
