Deposits are not refundable. When you make a deposit or payment that money is used to reserve your adventure dates and we cannot sell them to anyone else. If for some reason you have to cancel, you will lose your deposit and any payments you have made. If you are concerned that you might get sick or otherwise have to cancel, we suggest buying trip insurance. There are insurance companies that specialize in providing insurance policies for outfitter bookings and hunts. One such company we recommend is globalrescue.com. It is also our policy, depending on the adventure you booked and at our discretion, that if you have to cancel and we are able to book a replacement for you at the regular price we will work with you to apply your deposits to another adventure. Please note that we cannot refund or roll state or government license fees, application fees, draw results, or tags.

Kamchatka brown bear hunt can be added from the 1st of September. The Hunt schedule is as follows: Day 1 – arrival to Moscow, overnight. Day 2-3 – flight to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, transfer to the camp. Day 4-13 – 10-day hunt. Day 14 – transfer to Petropavlovsk, overnight. Day 15 – flight to Moscow, overnight. Day 16 – flight home. There are only 2 hunters per camp. Best if booked in groups of 2 or 4. This is a fully guided 1:1 10 day hunt.

This is a Moose hunt in the Russian valley of Kamchatka. You should be prepared to hike and to be able to effectively get to a spot to make your shot.This is spot-and-stalk with the moose call, backpack hunt on foot and horseback during the rut. In later season, the outfitter will use snowmobiles for transportation around the area. When the fresh track is found, hunter will use skis to make a final stalk. Hunter should be prepared for some moderate to heavy hiking on this hunt. Fall hunts may utilize boat transportation.


Transportation (To/From Basecamp)

Hunter will arrive to Sheremetyevo airport in Moscow, where outfitter will meet and help hunter with custom formalities. Next day all will fly to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. It is 9-hour non-stop flight. Hunter will then transfer to the camp by van, helicopter, all-terrain vehicle or snowmobiles, depending on the hunting area and season.

Description

Kamchatka Peninsula has a short, mostly cool summer. Cold waters of the Pacific Ocean and the Okhotsk Sea significantly affect. In September and October daytime temperatures in the valley are 40-50F (5-100C), and 20-300F (-5-00C) during the night, with morning frosts, frequent rain and snow. November and December there is a real snowy winter, with temperatures as low, as -200F (-250C).
