Description
This outfitter offers Grizzly/Black bear combo hunts for Spring and Fall. This is a 10 day hunt. These hunts are to be conducted within 160 square mile guide exclusive concession; as well as, on the state lands that border the concession in the Alaska Mountain Range. The grizzlies within this area are recognized by both SCI and Bonne & Crocket as true interior Grizzly bears. Shortly after the bears emerge from hibernation, the mating season takes hold. Both Grizzlies and Black bears tend to cover fast distances during this time period in search of a mate. With the long days and warming weather, guide and hunter will sit and glass from a high vantage point in search of a trophy to pursue. All hunts will be based out of comfortable cabin accommodations. Home cooked meals will be prepared every morning and evening. Sack lunches and snacks will be provided during the day while out hunting. ATV's and off road vehicles will be utilized throughout the hunt. Hunters will travel to Anchorage Alaska. From Anchorage he or she will take a small air taxi charter to the hunt area. There you will be meet by the guide and taken into camp by ATV or truck. This hunt will be a full 10 days of hunting, plus a travel day on each end. Spring hunts take place on odd years and fall hunts on even years.

Description
They are located some 180 miles West Northwest of Anchorage. Laying on the West side of the Alaska Mountain Range. The main hunting area consists of 160 square miles of private property and is totally encompassed by state land (public). They lease this parcel exclusively. Making us the only outfitter in this area. Access to even Alaska residents is very limited. In the scheme of things, they have their own private hunting area in the mountains. One of the best parts, you are able to hunt off of the private property and into the surrounding state land; which in turn, opens up an even wider area. The best part of it all, hands down, is that the hunts are conducted out of comfortable cabins. Very rarely do we have to “spike out” on a hunt. Meaning… client does not have to carry his/her house on their back. Which in turn, saves on carrying some 30 plus pounds of gear a day. Not to mention, the wear and tear on the mind and body.
