Deposits are not refundable. When you make a deposit or payment that money is used to reserve your adventure dates and we cannot sell them to anyone else. If for some reason you have to cancel, you will lose your deposit and any payments you have made. If you are concerned that you might get sick or otherwise have to cancel, we suggest buying trip insurance. There are insurance companies that specialize in providing insurance policies for outfitter bookings and hunts. One such company we recommend is globalrescue.com. It is also our policy, depending on the adventure you booked and at our discretion, that if you have to cancel and we are able to book a replacement for you at the regular price we will work with you to apply your deposits to another adventure. Please note that we cannot refund or roll state or government license fees, application fees, draw results, or tags.
Description
Hunt Beautiful Black Hills for Spring Merriam’s Gobblers on 60,000 acres of private leases in Wyoming and 60,000 acres of National Forest and private leases in South Dakota. Hunting is done on a run and gun basis. In most cases, guides will take clients in UTV’s covering country to find a willing gobbler. Scouting and roosting are keys to outfitters high success and hunters success rates are over 90%. Ponderosa pines, oak draws, canyons and grassy meadows comprise most of Hunting country and beauty abounds on this incredible turkey hunt!!!

Food isn’t a problem! Home cooked meals are top notch and you will need an extra hole in your belt!! 3 meals are served, early breakfast varies from continental to hot breakfast depending on the day. Full lunch and dinner are served daily.

Hiking is probable and hunters should be in Decent shape. UTV’s can get close but the final hike will be on foot to set up. Elevations up to 6000 feet and possible snow conditions can happen at any time.
Transportation (To/From Basecamp)
It is the hunters responsibility to get to camp from the airport in Rapid City, SD. Rental cars and shuttle services are available from RAP airport.

Description
Mornings will certainly be cold and crisp! Layering and warm boots are recommended. Gloves, stocking caps and neck gators help keep hunters warm. Spring in Wyoming is unpredictable at best and rain gear and long underwear should be included.
