This is a 5 day fully outfitted free range trophy bison hunt in Sonora, Mexico. Enjoy the culture in Sonora as you travel just south of the border for an adventure sure to leave a mark on any hunter in search of a challenging hunt. These bison roam the hills of what coues deer normally populate making it a tough hunt with tons of reward upon harvest. Most people think of bison hunting as a walk in the park, these bison are very smart. Come enjoy a cool hunt in a place many would never expect to be hunting Bison and test yourself as you search for mature trophy bulls. (Limited cow hunts also available)

Description
Wake up in a beautiful remote ranch house in northeastern Sonora, Mexico to smells of fresh tortillas and coffee. Enjoy a authentic mexican breakfast, take fresh burritos for lunch and head into to the hills in search of Trophy Bulls. Using optics on tripods glass these giant animals in terrain that includes ocotillo desert terrain littered with tall yellow grass up into the oak coues deer country. once you locate a trophy bull the hunt begins as you'll hike into position for a shot. Upon harvest no need to worry about processing, the mexican cowboys known as vaqueros will make easy work of the Bison and break it down into bags. Then come the the horses to pack everything off the mountain. after a long day of hunting or harvest you'll head back to the ranch house that provides much needed relaxation and conversation reflecting on the days hunt with fellow guides and hunters. Another delicious dinner then off to bed in heated rooms!

Hunter can expect to hike 1-3 miles per day, horseback hunts are optional.
Transportation (To/From Basecamp)
Final destination city is Tucson, Arizona. Hunters will cross the border with a vehicle. It is best to drive so all meat and animal can be taken back. Truck rental may be an option. Outfitter will meet the hunter at the border and help with rifle permits. Field transportation will be with horses (if desired) trucks.

Description
This hunt will be fully outfitted for the duration of the hunt (typically up to 5 days and 1 day of travel). The guide(s), food, lodging, and transportation will be included. You can either provide your own firearm or other legal means of harvest or use one of ours and possess a valid hunting license and tag for the given unit and dates. RBO and your outfitter will help with providing the tags, weapons permits, and export permits needed while hunting Sonora Mexico.
