Description
A great opportunity to hunt one of British Columbia's iconic species in one hunt. This is a 1:1, fully guided 10 day hunt. Hunter has the option to hunt many of the following species: Mountain goat, Canada moose, and Rocky Mountain elk. Options to add more species with an additional cost. A great hunt during the moose rut in beautiful British Columbia. This area in British Columbia harbors some giant bull moose. Moose over 50" are shot every year. Boone & Crockett scores are 175"-190" on average. This hunt can either be a backpack hunt utilizing spike camp or you can hunt from a cabin each day. Hunter should be prepared for 3-5 miles per day while glassing for goats and climbing ridges. Horses may also be used depending on the area holding the most animals. There are big elk in this area averaging 280"-345" B&C. Hunter will stay in small cabin and hunt daily from base camp, or may choose to set up a spike camp to find big mature animals.

Refund Policy:
Deposits are not refundable. When you make a deposit or payment that money is used to reserve your adventure dates and we cannot sell them to anyone else. If for some reason you have to cancel, you will lose your deposit and any payments you have made. If you are concerned that you might get sick or otherwise have to cancel, we suggest buying trip insurance. There are insurance companies that specialize in providing insurance policies for outfitter bookings and hunts. One such company we recommend is globalrescue.com. It is also our policy, depending on the adventure you booked and at our discretion, that if you have to cancel and we are able to book a replacement for you at the regular price we will work with you to apply your deposits to another adventure. Please note that we cannot refund or roll state or government license fees, application fees, draw results, or tags.

Hunter has the option to hunt 2 of the following species: Mountain goat, Canada moose, and Rocky Mountain Elk. Options to add more species with an additional cost. Hunter will stay in the cabin and hunt daily from lodge. Hunter may also stay in a backpack tent and stay in a spike camp may also be utilized while in pursuit of big billies.

Hunter should be prepared for some moderate to heavy hiking when closing the distance for the stalk on big billies if mountain goat is chosen. Moose hunts demand less hiking. Big bull elk will require moderate hiking.
Transportation (To/From Basecamp)
Final destination airport is Grand Prairie, Alberta. Hunter will be picked up and dropped off by Outfitter from airport, included in the hunt cost.

Description
This hunt will vary a little in terrain depending on what species are chosen. If mountain goat hunt is chosen, hunter can expect moderate to heavy hiking in pursuit of big billies. Hunter should expect 3-4 miles a day. Moose and elk hunt will require less exertion, but more physically fit will provide more shot opportunity. Outfitter will supply ATV's when needed. Horses may also be utilized if terrain allows. This hunt takes place at the end of August and beginning of September. Hunter should be prepared with light to moderate hunting clothing. Layering systems are recommended. Durable and comfortable hiking boots are a must.
