An amazing opportunity to hunt large Roosevelt elk with a guaranteed tag! This hunt allows access on a 14,000 acre ranch in Northern California. There are a lot of elk and the management is unmatched. Only one voucher for the ranch so there is no pressure on this herd. This is a 1:1 fully guided 7 day hunt. Hunter can choose any 5 days they would like to hunt from dates listed below. Option to add a blacktail hunt. Hunter will stay in a nice and clean cabin on the premise.

Book Roosevelt elk is taken every year. Only one hunter allowed every year so pressure is low and quality is extremely high. Exclusive hunt for those elk hunters who want to finish their elk slam.

Refund Policy:
Deposits are not refundable. When you make a deposit or payment that money is used to reserve your adventure dates and we cannot sell them to anyone else. If for some reason you have to cancel, you will lose your deposit and any payments you have made. If you are concerned that you might get sick or otherwise have to cancel, we suggest buying trip insurance. There are insurance companies that specialize in providing insurance policies for outfitter bookings and hunts. One such company we recommend is globalrescue.com. It is also our policy, depending on the adventure you booked and at our discretion, that if you have to cancel and we are able to book a replacement for you at the regular price we will work with you to apply your deposits to another adventure. Please note that we cannot refund or roll state or government license fees, application fees, draw results, or tags.
Description
An incredible opportunity to hunt some of the biggest Roosevelt elk with a guaranteed tag in your pocket! Only one landowner voucher is offered on this 14,000 acre ranch in Northern California. Hunter will be hunting the coast of California and the border of Oregon for record book Roosevelt bulls. Hunter can choose rifle, bow, or muzzleloader for this hunt and choose any 7 days they would like to hunt in from September 1 to October 15th of 2020. Options to add large blacktail bucks for a combo hunt will be offered in 2021. Hunter will stay in a nice, clean lodge and all home-cooked homestyle meals provided. This is a 1:1 fully guided hunt.

Hunter should be prepared for moderate hiking on some costal mountains while in pursuit of big bulls. Terrain can be a mix of high meadow fields and thick timber. This hunt takes place on the coastal region of Northern California and borders southern Oregon. 15 miles of river bottom. Hunter should expect 2-3 miles a day. Expect this to be a very physical hunt with some thick timber hunting.
Transportation (To/From Basecamp)
Final destination city is Redding or San Francisco, California. Rental car needed to get to camp. It is approximately a 2.5 hour drive. All field transportation is provided in camp with side x sides and trucks.

Description
Depending on what time of year hunter choose to hunt, weather can vary. Moderate hunting clothing using a layering system is recommended. Comfortable, durable, and waterproof boots a must. Truck and Side x Sides will be used for field transportation during the hunt.
