Description
Hunt Trophy Brown Bears from one of several remote camps along the Alaskan Peninsula. Hunts will use one of several options on this hunt, spike tent camp settings, remote cabin sites or from a main lodge via boat. This Outfitter does have boats to accommodate hunters that are less agile or require a little extra assistance, however, most often hunters are in a remote fly-in drop camp. Camps are as rugged, yet as comfortable as they come and food, trophy care and bush flights are included. This is a highly successful hunt for trophy bears and success rates average over 90%.

Description
This is our premium hunt. On a consistent annual basis, this Outfitter harvest bears in the 9+’ range. Quite often a portion of these bears make the B&C record book. Not a stretch of the truth….just a fact! All hunts start and end in either Cold Bay or Sand Point, Alaska with commercial flight travel from Anchorage. Once you arrive, we will fly you directly to the main lodge or into your field camp. This full service lodge is located on the main land of the Alaska Peninsula and is situated on Native Land. First class hospitality and meals provided by our lodge’s chef, laundry service, hot and cold running water and indoor plumbing, we are the only outfitter in the area and there is zero hunting pressure from outside sources. It has been in the family for nearly 60 years and is considered one of, if not THE best Trophy Coastal Brown Bear hunting areas in the state of Alaska. These hunts are conducted in three different fashions. Spike tent camp settings, remote cabin sites or from our main lodge via boat. There are boats available to accommodate hunters that are less agile or require a little extra assistance, however, most often hunters are in a remote fly-in drop camp. They are as rugged yet comfortable as they come. Spring hunts are demanding and require more than your average output. With long days that often extend 18-20 hours of daylight, and the rutting period of the bears, you can literally hunt around the clock. Fall hunts are on the average 10-14 hour days. With spawning salmon in the streams and the need for the bears to gather up as much body fat as possible, trophies are often harvested along the riverbeds and salmon spawning grounds. All hunts are conducted with one hunter and one guide with an average of 2+ miles of walking each day. After your trophy has been harvested, the pre-tanning work will be conducted at the lodge in the skinning and salt shed. All hides will be sent into Anchorage for processing and sealing by the Alaska Department of Fish and Game. Fishing is provided free of charge for salmon, halibut, cod and bottom fish, and all tackle is provided. The harvest of wolves is encouraged, no trophy fee or tag required. Your fully guided hunt is all inclusive with the exception Air travel, licenses, tags, personal clothing, rifle/bow and sleeping bag.
