Description
This is a great hunt for a Merriam turkey Tom in South Dakota! This is a 3 day/3 night fully guided hunt for one Tom. The hunt will take place on a private ranch of 10,000 acres. This license must be applied for in the application period (late January to early/mid-February) and licenses are for 1 tom only. Tags can be drawn with 0 points, but odds increase with 1-2 points. Option for a non-hunter.

Licenses not included in the hunt price. Habitat stamp (appx. $25) must also be purchased when applying for draw. Application fee is about $10 and will cover cost of point awarded if not drawn, habitat stamp is nonrefundable. Remaining license costs are paid if successful, appx. $100. ONE TOM LIMIT. *HUNTERS WILL NEED THIER OWN LODGING & MEALS FOR SPECIAL. NEED TO BE SOUTH DAKOTA RESIDENT FOR DRAW.

Refund Policy:
Deposits are not refundable. When you make a deposit or payment that money is used to reserve your adventure dates and we cannot sell them to anyone else. If for some reason you have to cancel, you will lose your deposit and any payments you have made. If you are concerned that you might get sick or otherwise have to cancel, we suggest buying trip insurance. There are insurance companies that specialize in providing insurance policies for outfitter bookings and hunts. One such company we recommend is globalrescue.com. It is also our policy, depending on the adventure you booked and at our discretion, that if you have to cancel and we are able to book a replacement for you at the regular price we will work with you to apply your deposits to another adventure. Please note that we cannot refund or roll state or government license fees, application fees, draw results, or tags.

This is a typical spring hunt with season dates from early April to end of May. Layering systems are encouraged, as weather can be anywhere from cool and dry, to wet and blustery. Snow can be possible. Mornings and evenings can be expected to be cool.

Description
Weather can be unpredictable during the spring season dates, and snow is possible! Layering systems are encouraged as preparation for any unprecedented weather surges. Face/neck masks are recommended for concealment and box calls or mouth calls (reeds) are also beneficial when calling birds in from their morning roosts or during mid-day struts! Outfitter will provide field transportation, blinds, and decoys for the hunt.
